Placing an order
All orders should be confirmed in writing and should include a purchase order number.
Please include a full delivery address and site contact on all purchase orders to aid delivery to site.
Machine technical support
In the event of a breakdown call our team in your location. Our Technical Services team will speak to you directly and will dispatch an engineer to your site as soon as possible.
Off-Hires (termination of hire)
When you wish to terminate the hire of the machine, please contact your local depot via email, a member of our hire team will be in touch with you to confirm collection arrangements.
Please be reminded that the safekeeping of the equipment remains your responsibility until the equipment is collected.
Machine operation
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that the persons using the plant have received the appropriate instructions, information and training.
If you are not fully competent with the plant hired from us, please call us for assistance or to arrange training.
Manuals and certification
All our machines undergo periodic thorough examinations. Our qualified personnel may therefore
require access to the machine during the hire period to carry out such examinations.
Machine maintenance
Please note that the Hirer is responsible for all fuels and lubricants and for routine daily maintenance during the period of the hire. The Hirer is also responsible for all costs incurred in the changing or replacement of any tyre and the repair of any puncture. However, we will retain authorisation for the changing of tyres and wheels. Please call your local Rapid Access depot in the event of tyre or wheel damage.
Chargeable repairs
We will advise you, in writing, of any chargeable repairs. Unless instructed otherwise these charges will be invoiced five days after our initial notification to you.
