Business Development Manager – Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager is responsible for selling to and educating customers about Rapid Access’ product portfolio, facilities and services.
 
Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager – KSA & Bahrain and working closely with the Business Development Team, the role holder will be part of a team responsible for providing high quality and proactive business development opportunities.
 
The Business Development Manager can be required to travel throughout their assigned territory in Saudi Arabia as well as spending time in the depot when needed

ESSENTIAL

• Proven track record in a business-to-business target–driven, consultative sales role in the heavy plant, machinery or construction related industry sector
• Ability to demonstrate effective negotiation skills and deliver convincing arguments in order to win commercially viable business
• Experience of strategically growing business in an assigned territory through an understanding of a customer base, competitor activity and buying behaviours
• Competence in the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Valid car driving licence
• Fluent in English and Arabic

IPAF Trainer – Qatar
 
Job Purpose
 

The IPAF Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training to internal and external stakeholders either at Rapid Access or at client sites.
Their core function will be to identify safety and machinery operating training needs and enhance the knowledge and awareness at all levels within Rapid Access and client organisations.
As a member of the Rapid Access External Training team, the IPAF Trainer will deliver recognised qualifications under our centre status with IPAF, PASMA and HABC  and any third party certification bodies represented by Rapid Access. 
The IPAF Trainer will also be responsible for building partnerships with international associations and organisations that will add value to the department and overall profitability of Rapid Access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training needs analysis for employees, customers and third-party contractors
• Develop, implement and conduct appropriate training programs to support identified needs
• Assist in the development of appropriate mandatory HSE and machiner operator training matrixes
• Maintain a documented inventory of HSE and machine operator training including specifications, requirements and curriculum
• Identify, implement and maintain appropriate training facilities, materials, and resources to support HSE training needs. Plan and submit budgets for appropriate spending
• Ensure that an accurate database of training is maintained against all employees, customers and contractors

Qualification and Experience Requirements: the chosen candidate will meet ALL the essential criteria below. 
 

ESSENTIAL:

• Internationally recognised award in delivering training such as HABC IADT or equivalent
• Strong track record in the work at height / lifting equipment background with prior knowledge of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms
• Experience in delivering IPAF courses include IPAF Operator / Demonstrator, IPAF Harness and IPAF Instructor
• Successful track record in developing and delivering HSE and machinery related training
• Recognised technical certification in Safety Management Systems e.g. HABC Level 2 HSE or equivalent
• Certification in Emergency First Aid at Work
• Well developed English language written and verbal communication skills, writing skills and computer literacy
• Competent in using MS Office Application (MS Word, Excel and Power Point)

Senior Tax Accountant – Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose:
 
The Senior Tax Accountant will be primarily responsible for the delivery of tax reporting and compliance requirements in the assigned region. When required, the Senior Tax Accountant will also provide support with general finance and accountancy functions, when tax related matters allow it.
 
Key duties will include preparing tax calculations, payments and returns for the assigned region as well as maintaining and reporting accurate accounting records for audit purposes.
 
The role holder will have in-depth technical tax knowledge and will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to identify and manage tax risks. They will also have an in-depth understanding of financial accounting principles - especially the management of receivables and payables.

 
ESSENTIAL

• Accountancy or finance related qualification
• Experience and knowledge in accounting concepts and tax regulations, laws and standards
• Extensive exposure and strong understanding of the implications of VAT from an accounting, compliance and reporting aspect
• Experience of using software such as ERP systems
• Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Outlook, Word & Power point
• Ability to communicate tax concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-tax professionals

Reporting into the Service Manager, the Service Engineer will be part of the wider Engineering Service team that is responsible for carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to a variety of powered access machines. Planned preventative Maintenance (PPMs) will also be a part of the daily duties.  

 As well as being stationed at your assigned depot workshop, the Service Engineer may work outside of normal depot hours, perform repair and maintenance at clients’ sites or travel outside of assigned depot city for the occasional project at our other depot locations in the GCC.

Hire Desk Controller - Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose:
 
The main purpose of this role is to support the management team and depot performance by helping to convert internal sales enquiries into orders, and providing effective customer service and general administration.
The Hire Desk Controller will be based in our depot in Dubai and will be the main point of contact for customers who are seeking to hire our equipment in the region. 

The role holder will deal with incoming calls from customers in a timely, efficient and effective manner. This will be done by providing quotations, liaising with the internal departments to ensure equipment is available, processing orders, coordinating deliveries and collections as well as managing any associated sales administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively manage and retain an active customer base within an agreed percentage
• Work with closely with the field sales team and keeping them informed of any developments relevant to their accounts
• Build strong relationships with colleagues in other depots to enable and accept passing of remote hire orders
• Conduct post-sales follow up customer calls customer to increase renewal sales rates and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Help the team to actively promote Rapid Access’ products and service offerings to customers and prospective customers
• Building strong long-term and productive relationships with customers by providing excellent customer experiences through quick and efficient investigations and resolving of all customers queries to ensure the delivery of our service promise
• Feedback on customer and market information to colleagues in sales
• Ensure correct communication towards team members in terms of daily team work, sharing information, sharing workload, adjusting schedules and holidays with the relevant back up persons
