ESSENTIAL

IPAF Instructor
Job Purpose:
The IPAF Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering training to internal and external stakeholders either at Rapid Access or at client sites.
Their core function will be to identify safety and machinery operating training needs and enhance the knowledge and awareness at all levels within Rapid Access and client organisations.
As a member of the Rapid Access External Training team, the IPAF Instructor will deliver recognised qualifications under our centre status with IPAF, PASMA and HABC and any third-party certification bodies represented by Rapid Access.
ESSENTIAL
- Valid IPAF Instructor certificate
- Internationally recognised award in delivering training such as HABC IADT or equivalent
- Strong track record in the work at height / lifting equipment background with prior knowledge of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms
- Experience in delivering IPAF courses include IPAF Operator / Demonstrator, IPAF Harness
- Successful track record in developing and delivering HSE and machinery related training
- Recognised technical certification in Safety Management Systems e.g. HABC Level 3 HSE or equivalent
- Certification in Emergency First Aid at Work
- Well developed English and Hindi/Urdu language written and verbal communication skills, writing skills and computer literacy
- Competent in using MS Office Application (MS Word, Excel and Power Point)

Service Engineer - UAE
Job Purpose:
Reporting into the Service Manager, the Service Engineer will be part of the wider Engineering Service team that is responsible for attending breakdowns and carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to a variety of powered access machines. Planned preventative Maintenance (PPMs) will also be a part of the daily duties.
As well as being stationed at your assigned depot workshop, the Service Engineer may work outside of normal
depot hours, perform repair and maintenance at clients’ sites or travel outside of assigned depot city for the occasional project at our other depot locations in the GCC.
Qualification and Experience Requirements: the chosen candidate will meet ALL the essential criteria below.
ESSENTIAL:
- Degree or equivalent – ideally in Mathematics, Economics or Business or related subject
- Recent graduate ideally with some experience in an analytical role
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills and with the ability to draw conclusions from data
- Ability to deliver and analyse quantitative research e.g. customer surveys
- Ability to deliver and analyse qualitative consumer and market research materials, e.g. industry reports
- Proven ability to synthesise large data sets from various tools to extract actionable insights
- Scientific and inquisitive mind-set with the ability to interrogate data, solve problems and make recommendations
- Flexibility and willingness to take on various aspects of marketing and forecasting analysis
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills with confidence in communication at all levels of the business
- Excellent presentation skills
- High level of proficiency using Excel and basic statistical techniques
