Telescopic Boom Lift @ Dubai Clock Tower
For more than 40 years the Deira Clock Tower in Dubai is as recognizable as the Eiffel tower is to Paris. Built in 1964 it had not changed until November 2008, apart from structural renovations in 1972.

RAPID ACCESS, the Middle East's largest provider of powered access equipment, is helping to light the way for many Saudi Eastern Province companies.
We have provided a Geine S85, to assist with the installation of the lighting in the prestigious landmark building housing the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce & Industry building.
Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce & Industry have hired one, 27 metre lift. The machine was chosen for its high reach ability which makes it ideal to access this difficult position above the impressive entrance stairs & atrium area.
This Genie S85 can be easily manoeuvred through & around this busy area, with the minimum disruption to traffic & pedestrians.
As an added bonus - as well as helping install the lights Rapid Access’ client even had time to spare to make some minor repairs & touch up painting on the front face of this building, all done in an incredibly short time of 2 days.
An alternative method used for the same scope of work 18 months ago took over 4 weeks & caused major disruption to Chamber clients & members who use the chamber facilities, for a wide range of meetings, exhibitions & PRO services.
A Chamber of Commerce maintenance engineer commented, "We have built up a good relationship with the team at Rapid Access. One of the major benefits in terms of convenience is same day delivery & availability of Rapid Access personnel throughout the weekend to assist us. This is a major saving for us."
Mr. David Cagigas (Rapid Access Middle East Managing Director) adds "Many applications which currently require the erection of scaffolding to provide safe access will be tackled much faster and much more safely with a powered boom lift. The great thing for many people is that the safer option of powered access can also be more cost effective. Bringing in a diesel boom on short-term hire is a far better deal than erecting and then dismantling scaffolding", he says.
