14/04/11 - International Training Instructor Of The Year 2011 Award

We are delighted to announce that Gurpartap Singh, IPAF Training Instructor for Rapid Access, was confirmed as the “Training Instructor of the Year” at the prestigious ‘International Awards for Powered Access’ ceremony in Amsterdam on 14th April. This high profile award was presented to Gurpartap in front of an audience of more than 450 people representing safety and equipment rental organisations from around the world.

Gurpartap, an Indian national, has worked within Lavendon’s Middle East operation for over five years and has delivered Rapid’s unique range of ‘Working At Height’ safety training programmes to a diverse audience of training delegates. His professionalism, training skills and multi-lingual capabilities caught the eye of the IAPA judges, who described the winner as a passionate advocate of IPAF training. "His is a great story of personal achievement, described to us by his employer as not just a great trainer, but one of the company's best ambassadors."

This is a fantastic success for both Gurpartap and Rapid Access, and formally recognises the contribution that our ‘Educating The Workforce’ training programmes are having in raising Working At Height safety awareness throughout the Middle East.
